The Alberta Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Alberta SPCA) is proud to host the 2026 Animal Welfare Symposium, presented by Vétérinov. The following day, September 11, PetSmart Charities is hosting the Connecting Pets and People Summit at the same venue. This free event is designed for shelter and animal rescue staff and volunteers, with a focus on best practices in sheltering and reducing barriers to pet adoption.
Together, these events offer two full days of learning, collaboration, and networking in animal welfare.
