Join us for part one of a two-part anesthesia-focused series.During this session we will be reviewing key protocols and practical management tips for patients that begin to wake up or display concerning monitor values. We’ll cover anesthesia plan considerations, hands-on manual ventilation, and essential airway management strategies. Topics include endotracheal tubes, breathing circuits, oxygen flow rates, and why end-tidal CO₂ is critical for maintaining safe, stable anesthesia. Graduating from Olds College AHT program and being a board-certified Veterinary Technician Specialist by the Academy of Veterinary Technician in Anesthesia & Analgesia for 15 years, Alayne brings over 25 years of clinical experience in Veterinary Medicine. Practicing primarily in busy emergency and specialty practice throughout her career, Alayne has spent considerable time training veterinarians, RVTs and support staff.
