ABVTA Partners with CoVet to Bring AI Education and Support to Veterinary Technologists

5/13/26 - The Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association (ABVTA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with CoVet, an AI-powered platform designed to support veterinary teams through workflow and documentation tools.

As part of this partnership, ABVTA members will have access to educational opportunities focused on the practical use of AI within veterinary practice settings. The collaboration aims to help veterinary technologists explore emerging technology in a way that supports efficiency, communication, and day-to-day clinical workflows.

The partnership reflects ABVTA’s ongoing commitment to providing members with access to relevant professional resources and innovative learning opportunities that support the evolving veterinary profession.

“We are always looking for ways to provide meaningful resources and educational opportunities for our members,” said Vanessa George, Executive Director of ABVTA. “As technology continues to evolve within veterinary medicine, partnerships like this help ensure veterinary technologists can explore these tools in a practical and responsible way.”

Additional information about member access and upcoming educational opportunities will be shared with members in the coming months.
