For Emergency Preparedness Week, we have been working very closely with some of our valued partners to align our messaging – and one of them is the @albertaspcaWe want to touch on something very important: having an evacuation plan for your pets. The Alberta SPCA recommends the following:🐶 Have an emergency evacuation kit for your pets containing everything they will need for up to 2 weeks away from home.🐶 Ensure your pet’s vaccinations are up-to-date, and that you have proof of the vaccinations with you. You will need this if your pet requires a boarding facility.🐶 Plan ahead. Susan has currently works as an RVT at the Chestermere Veterinary Clinic and has been a technologist for over 25 years.⁠

Because of how she's prioritized work-life balance, Susan is still excited about her profession! For Susan, it's a pleasure to work at an AAHA-accredited and Fear-Free Certified Practice where her team shares her enthusiasm for helping clients work with behaviour issues in pets.⁠

“Behavior is my passion,” she said. “It has been for the last few years, and it seems like many people are getting on the bandwagon. So let’s hope that we can make some positive impact.”⁠
