Nominate a colleague for an award. The Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association (ABVTA) awards are presented annually at the Member Recognition Banquet in conjunction with the ABVMA Leadership Weekend in February.

The call for nominations will be distributed in July of every year. The deadline for receipt of nominations will be 60 days after the distribution date. Nominations are not normally carried over to subsequent years, however, the Board of Directors may ask to set specific nominations aside to be reconsidered the following year with consent of the nominator.

The ABVTA Board of Directors will attempt to present these awards every year. The association will make every effort to seek a candidate for the awards each year. Notification of award recipients will be made with an invitation to attend the annual Member Recognition Banquet for presentation.
