Registered Veterinary Technologist

You will be part of a growing veterinary practice in Canmore, Alberta. You will be an active participant in developing and implementing industry best practices as the clinic expands from a successful Mobile Veterinary Practice to an Animal Hospital. The vision is to provide a higher level of Veterinary contact, quality basic care, and emergency services within a committed and personal local culture

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Performing diagnostic tests and X-Rays
Administering anesthesia for medical procedures
Administering medications and prescriptions, vaccines, and treatments
Preparing animals and instruments for surgeries and dentals
Providing emergency first aid and nursing care for patients.
Observing and reporting on the behavior and condition of patients.
Collecting and recording animal case histories.
Your work will be primarily in the clinic and occasionally in the mobile unit if preferred.
Your key qualifications will include:

Registered Technologist with ABMVA.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Aptitude for learning online software applications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
