Expand your confidence with reptiles and amphibian Expand your confidence with reptiles and amphibians in practice! Join us for Part 3, of the 3-part ABVTA 2026 Exotic Track. This two hour session, led by Christina Miller, AHT, RVT, B.Sc. (Ag. Env. Sci), VTS (CP-Exotics), reviews key principles of reptile and amphibian care. Topics include general husbandry, nutrition, suitability as pets, preventative care needs, and a review of common diseases and disorders encountered in clinical settings. Pricing is $10 per session for members and $30 per track for non members, reflecting the extended two hour format and specialized content. Cold weather can be tough on pets, especially seni Cold weather can be tough on pets, especially seniors, puppies, and animals with short coats. Limit outdoor time during extreme temperatures and make sure they have a warm, dry place to rest indoors. Ice, salt, and cold pavement can irritate or burn paw pads. Wipe paws after walks and use pet-friendly ice melt around your home to prevent injuries or accidental ingestion. Protective booties can also help keep paws comfortable. A few small precautions can make winter safer and more comfortable for every pet. ❄️🐾
